Here is what I am trusting, grateful for, inspired by, and doing for fun this week.

Trusting: I don’t want to get too caught up in the New Year. It feels like there is so much energy surrounding the New Year this year because it is also a new decade. I want to make sure I stay true to myself and my goals and don’t get too obsessive about the whole thing. I have some big things I want to accomplish this year, but its not because its 2020 or a new decade, its because I’ve worked toward them for years and I now have a life with space and time to make them a reality.

Grateful for: Quiet calm. With the way the holidays fell this year there has been a lot of time to just BE. Michael and I cook together often, but we took this time to make pasta from scratch and bread–things that take time. We also prioritized walking the dog often and reading a lot. It was really, really lovely and I feel so settled.

Inspired by: Elise Cripe! I have been following her blog for years and each year I download her “goal tracker” so I can see my progress to a goal. Its been a great way to measure progress. This year, she did a fabulous newsletter series on goal setting. Learn more on her website and definitely sign-up for her newsletter. Here is my inspiration wall:

 

Doing for FUN!: This weekend we are going to Phoenix to have lunch with Michael’s Aunt Pam. I am excited to spend time with her and get to know her better.
