dare to lead facilitator

About me

I am a professional health coach by day, helping people make changes in order to live the lives they imagine for themselves. Sometimes making a big change is easier with a co-pilot by your side, cheering you on each step of the way. It is an honor to be that co-pilot. For myself, I have taken the best parts of every job I’ve ever held to create a life that keeps me teaching, learning, and interacting with others every day.

I proudly serve on the Town Council of Clarkdale, AZ.

How did I get here?

Before returning to Northern Arizona, where I was born and raised, I held positions at The Orme School, The University of the South, and Angelo State University supporting student growth and development.

I recently had the privilege of serving as the Council Director of Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona, a program of North Country HealthCare. I trained, recruited and supported volunteer coaches, and engaged donors to raise over $50,000 annually. It was in this position that I learned about Dare to Lead™ and saw in action how it changes lives.

Why you should work with me

I earned a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trinity University (TX).

I am a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator, trained by Brené Brown in 2019.

I have been a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach since 2022.

I have been an American Council on Exercise Group Fitness Instructor since 2010.

I was trained as a National Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach in 2023.

I have been honored by the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce with the Athena Young Professional Award as an emerging leader who is a role model for young women both professionally and personally, and by the NAU College of Public Health for mentoring student interns.
